PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To economically clarify contaminated water such as rain water.;SOLUTION: A clarifying apparatus and a clarifying tank provided with the clarifying apparatus are constituted of a water introducing section, a spiral stream separation section, a sedimentation section and a filtration section. After suspended matters and precipitates contained in the contaminated water are separated at the spiral stream separation section by a spiral stream caused by draining force of the contaminated water, the water passes through the sedimentation section and the filtration section filled with a clarifying disinfectant to obtain clean clarified water.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
