PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-absorbing resin composite that includes a decreased amount of residual monomer and has excellent water absorption and hygiene, water-absorbing resin composite composition and absorbing articles.;SOLUTION: This water-absorbing resin composite comprises fiber-composite high water-absorbing resin particles and the content of residual monomer is less than 2,000 ppm in the composite. The water-absorbing composite composition includes this water-absorbing resin composite. The absorbing articles include the water-absorbing resin composite composition. In the method for producing the water-absorbing resin composite, polymerizable monomers and/or liquid drops including polymerizing monomers are allowed to contact with fiber in a gas phase and the polymerization of the polymerizable monomers is allowed to progress thereby producing the resin composite in the form of fiber composite high water-absorbing resin particles.
