PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage of ink in a conversion part which aligns an arrangement pitch of ink tanks etc. with that of ink receiving openings of a print head.;SOLUTION: This ink supply mechanism, which is a mechanism for supplying the ink to the print head 3 of a printer, comprises an ink receiving member 4 wherein the ink receiving openings 15 allowing the passage of the ink supplied from an ink supply part 101 are arranged, and a conversion plate 2 which is provided in a close contact state in such a manner as to face a surface 4b, on the exit side of the ink receiving opening 15, of the ink receiving member 4. In the conversion plate 2, an ink channel 16, one end of which communicates with the ink receiving opening 15 and is elongated along the surface 4b on the exit side and the other end of which has an ink discharge opening 21 connected with the print head 3, is formed with the surface 4b.
