PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an inorganic hardened body which has both lightweight and pliable properties, while maintaining excellent moisture absorbing-releasing properties, and a hardened body strength and which is excellent in workability in construction, such as nailing characteristics and cutting properties, on the occasion of application to a wall or the ceiling and hardly causes nonuniformity in the quality of construction, and to provide the inorganic hardened body.;SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the inorganic hardened body, the mixture of an inorganic powder containing a calcium silicate compound (preferably containing wallastonite), pulp of 2-20 pts.wt. (and moisture absorbing-releasing material of 10-70 pts.wt.) to 100 pts.wt. of the inorganic powder and water is dehydrated by sheet forming, shaped so that the water content is 10-50 wt.%, and then subjected to carbonation processing. Calcium carbonate, amorphous silica (and the moisture absorbing-releasing material) and the pulp are contained in the hardened body subjected to the carbonation processing, and the content of the amorphous silica is 3 wt.% or above.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
