PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lumbering apparatus which can be easily disassembled and assembled to lumber log material wood having relatively small diameter in a felling place, and can be easily carried.;SOLUTION: The lumbering apparatus 1 used for working the log material wood and the like is equipped with an endless band saw 17 rotatably secured to pulleys 16, the pulleys 16 facing to each other and being mounted on a band saw placement table 13, a band saw adjusting means 19 adjusting a distance between the portions of the endless band saw 17 facing to each other and an angle, a fixing means 20 rotatably fixing the material wood, a material wood angle adjusting means 21 capable of arbitrarily adjusting an arrangement angle of the material wood, and a transferring means 22 capable of reciprocatively transferring the band saw placement table in the lengthwise direction of the material wood.
