PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embedded computer capable of image display or the like by reflecting setting related with display or the like even when a video BIOS whose internal specifications are not disclosed is used.;SOLUTION: The embedded computer 100 stores a BIOS 172 for making a CPU 110 function as a deciding part 112 which decides whether the display classification of a display is an analog format or a digital format, and decides the set resolution of the display based on the data showing the set resolution of the display and an updating part 114 which develops a BIOS 174 including a standard module for digital display to an RAM 150, and updates the developed video BIOS.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
