PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a common use computer and a common use computer control program for making a single drive store and use a common use computer environment and a difference environment. PSOLUTION: The common use computer 100 communicates with an external server 200, and a user computer environment file in which information necessary for constructing a user computer environment is recorded is read from the server 200, and the read user computer environment file is stored in a temporary storage area 141a included in the same drive as a drive including a common region 141b in which the common use computer environment is stored. Then, a user computer environment is constructed based on the user computer environment file stored in the temporary storage area 141a and the common use computer environment. The user generation information stored in the temporary storage area 141a is stored in the server 200 in response to the end instruction of the use of the common use computer, and the stored user generation information is erased from the temporary storage area 141a.
