PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film realizing bright color development of various colors by stacking the surface of Al showing large diffuse reflectance in which the form of surface ruggedness is controlled with a transparent AlN film, and to provide its production method.;SOLUTION: In the method of producing a structural coloring body utilizing surface ruggedness, using a parallel plate sputtering system, Ar and a gaseous mixture of Ar and N2 are adopted as sputtering gas and the temperature of a substrate and a deposition time are controlled, thus the surface of an Al film showing large diffuse reflectance in which the form of surface ruggedness is controlled is stacked with a transparent AlN film, therefore, interference effect is exhibited mainly to the diffuse reflectance light in the ultraviolet/visible/ near-infrared wavelength regions to form the same.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
