PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation system, and its control method for saving energy by always maintaining a required ventilation quantity constant by a ventilation control mechanism, by maximally and effectively using natural ventilation force.;SOLUTION: This system controls the ventilation air volume of a house having a structure that an exhaust chamber is arranged in an attic space, an air supply opening part communicates with an indoor space, and an exhaust opening communicates with the outdoors, by arranging an air measuring mechanism, a ventilation control mechanism, and an air volume setting means in an exhaust chamber provided with the air supply opening part in one, and the exhaust opening part in the other. The system controls the ventilation control mechanism stepwise, for setting the air volume suitable for the preset air volume on the basis of a detecting result, by detecting the natural ventilation air volume passing through the inside of the exhaust chamber or the total air volume of the natural ventilation air volume and the mechanical ventilation air volume with every specific time by the air measuring mechanism.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
