PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable photography of an examinee who does not spontaneously move, by reducing ambiguity of position.;SOLUTION: A second organ or an inspection area are scanned by a gantry 1 equipped with at least one X-ray tube 2 which has a focus emitting cone beams toward at least one detector 3 formed in multiple lines shape or in a plane. In scanning at relative feed velocity v in z direction between the gantry 1 and a patient 7, a scan area is made to partly overlap with or at least contact with quiescent time phases 10 which periodically appear. On the basis of data obtained by scanning at the quiescent time phases on the second organ or the inspection area, a space image with an absorption coefficient including a plurality of slice faces is provided. In the method of producing the CT image of the examinee wherein motional information required for deciding the quiescent time phase are collected from a first organ, the area 10 used for reconstruction of the images in cardiac cycle is changed depending upon the distance from the heart in scanning.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
