PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of detecting and controlling the viscosity of the contents of a mixer of a waste disposal facility, and a mixer apparatus allowing a proper decision on the viscosity of the contents of a mixer, stable transfer of the contents of the mixer to an incinerator, and continuation of smooth operations.;SOLUTION: A mixer coefficient μ, which is determined by a mixer coefficient μ=a mixer load M/(the weight of the contents of a mixer W) is detected as the viscosity of the contents of a mixer 5. When it is decided that the viscosity of the contents of the mixer 5 has increased, by the fact that the mixer coefficient μ as the viscosity of the contents of the mixer 5 has exceeded a permissible range, a waste fluid which is introduced from a waste fluid receiving bath 4 into the mixer 5, is allowed to increase. Meanwhile, when it is decided that the viscosity of the contents of the mixer 5 has decreased, by the fact that the mixer coefficient μ has fallen below the permissible range, waste, which is introduced from a breaker 3 to the mixer 5, is increased.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
