SYSTEM INCLUDING ACOUSTIC ARRAY EQUIPPED WITH ACOUSTIC VELOCITY METER FOR MEASURING POSITION OF UNDERWATER EQUIPMENT

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for measuring position of underwater equipment, in order to solve the problem of incorrect measurements due to flection of underwater sound wave. PSOLUTION: This system is provided with a acoustic velocity meter on its acoustic array to compute the data output from the acoustic array with processing configuration and then obtain the position of underwater equipment, while using the acoustic velocity meter to measure acoustic velocity in a fluid layer directly under a ship.
