INTERNAL REFLUX TYPE MULTI-PURPOSE DISTILLATION TOWER, AND BATCH TYPE DISTILLATION METHOD USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-purpose distillation tower which is easy in changing the treatment of raw solution, and effective in separating highly value-added components of small amount by batch type or continuous type distillation.;SOLUTION: In the internal reflux type multi-purpose distillation tower, and batch type distillation method using the same, a distillation tower has a plurality of gas-liquid contact layers inside and a distillation vessel with a reboiler, a condenser unit for ascending vapor components is built in a tower top part, and a collector laminar layer in which descending condensate flows down in a displaceable manner in the direction of an inner circumferential wall of the tower is installed in a space part immediately below the condenser unit. A collector box of U-shaped section for the descending condensate is installed in the circumferential wall in the tower below the collector laminar layer. The collector box is divided into inner and outer chambers with bottom parts thereof communicating with each other by a partition plate installed in a concentric manner. A descending pipe for the in-tower reflux solution is provided in one divided chamber, and a distillate solution outwardly-discharging pipe is provided in the other divided chamber.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
