PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic response control remodeling method of an existing building, capable of providing the superior aseismatic performance improving effect by exhibiting the seismic response control effect by an extended seismic response control device, even to the existing building having low deformation capacity of a frame in an earthquake.;SOLUTION: Deformation capacity of the frame is enhanced by removing an existing member 2 for constituting the frame of a story to the story of 1/3 or less of the whole story number of the existing building 1.
