PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collecting device which is used for a vacuum cleaner and separates dust effectively with a simple constitution.;SOLUTION: Since coarse dust in an air flow is separated in a passage part 5 constituting an instant separation part, and fine dust in the air flow is separated in a passage part 7 constituting a centrifugal separation part, an efficient dust collecting effect is obtained. Moreover, the effect of separating the dust at the passage part 5 is increased since the air flow blowing out of the passage part 5 is straightened by the air flow of the passage part 7.
