PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an attack defense function by which an input edge router of an attack packet can be efficiently detected without being missed, on an IP communication network.;SOLUTION: A packet monitor device totalizes the statistical information of transfer packets on the network and detects an attack packet on the basis of the totalized statistical information and outputs the totalized statistical information and detected detection information, and an attack defense control server collects the statistical information, determines and reports attack defense processing on the basis of the collected statistical information and the outputted detection information, and the packet monitor device performs the processing of attack defense based on this report.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
