PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for industrially advantageously producing a copolymer of an N,N-dialkylallylamine with a diallylamine or its addition salt with a good yield which is useful in various uses in the field of fine chemicals, particularly useful as a water-resisting agent for an inkjet ink and the like.;SOLUTION: The method for producing the copolymer of an N,N-dialkylallylamine with an N-substituted or nonsubstituted diallylamine or its addition salt is characterized by copolymerizing an addition salt of the N,N-dialkylallylamine with an addition salt of the N-substituted or nonsubstituted diallylamine in an aqueous solvent in the presence of a radical initiator having an azo group in the molecule or a persulfate radical initiator in an amount of 5-100 mol% based on the total amount of the two types of the addition salts and, if necessary, performing neutralization of the reaction product.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
