PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and precisely detect a bug of a compiler. PSOLUTION: The same input value is given to a plurality of machine language programs 5 and 7 operating in operating environments different from each other generated by a plurality of compilers, and output data (a) and (b) being the output values of them are compared so that the bug of the compiler can be indirectly detected. In this case, since possibility of presence of the completely same bug is extremely low in the respective same parts of the two kinds of compilers, the presence of the bug of any one compiler can be estimated from the presence of the mismatch of the output results.
