PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grating filter for a reciprocating multiplying optical modulator whose output light has stable intensity against variation in ambient temperature and which can be made small-sized.;SOLUTION: A grating filter is a fiber grating having a grating formed having specified length in a core of an optical fiber, and the grating has a fiber grating 2 provided nearby one end surface of the optical fiber and at least one substrate 4 having an end surface 11 where both ends of the grating of the fiber grating are fixed and which constitutes nearly the same plane as the end surface of the fiber grating.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
