PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming support apparatus capable of using image data for the CTP for on-demand print. PSOLUTION: The image forming support apparatus refers to an Orient tag of image file data with the TIFF format generated by a RIP processing (106), a BEP apparatus calculates layout information such as arrangement of patterns and pasted positions on each page on the basis of a file size, image data are electronically cut (106), and directions of top and bottom of each page are matched (108 to 110), when a gathering instruction or a face-down instruction exists, the image forming support apparatus rearranges electronically cut pages in response to the instruction (114 to 118), and starts a print engine 30 to automatically designate prescribed paper and to output the result (120).
