PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wax composition that reduces galling of coating film caused by lubrication deficiency of a plate of aluminum or the like in forming and processing of an aluminum plate or the like for forming work, especially an aluminum plate or the like having a resin coating film on at least one side thereof, to provide a method for producing an aluminum plate or the like for forming and processing, using the wax composition and to obtain a coated aluminum plate for forming and processing, having excellent galling resistance.;SOLUTION: The wax composition is obtained by melting and mixing carnauba wax with paraffin wax having ≤70°C melting point in the mass ratio of ≥5% and ≤70% of carnauba wax at a temperature higher than or equal to the melting points of both the waxes and ≤200°C. The method for producing an aluminum plate or aluminum alloy plate for forming and processing comprises coating an aluminum plate, an aluminum alloy plate, or a plate of aluminum or the like having a resin coating film with the wax composition in 5-150 mg/m².
