PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent card rereading when rechecking credit, in a credit card transaction system interlocking a POS terminal and a card terminal to process a transaction by a card exhibited by a user.;SOLUTION: This credit card transaction system has the card terminal 1 and the POS terminal 2, encrypts card information read from the user's card by encryption algorithm particular to the card terminal, returns it to the POS terminal issuing a settlement request as transaction tag information, and sends a returned transaction tag of the credit card transaction to the card terminal from the POS terminal when the credit card transaction is newly required.
