PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kind of a double layer microstrip antenna which is formed so as to enhance a gain frequency width of an antenna by the design of a double layer structure, and to reduce the interference between the antennas and the radiation formed by a phase delay circuit.;SOLUTION: An antenna unit 21 and a phase delay circuit unit are superposed by a distance capable of corresponding to each other, and are provided to the two side faces opposite to a first dielectric layer 2. A second dielectric layer is adjacent to the first dielectric layer. An excellent gain frequency width can be obtained by adjusting the distance of the superposition, the side length of the antenna unit 21, and the dielectric coefficient and thickness of two dielectric layers. In addition to it, a surface wave phenomenon to be generated can be reduced by increasing the thickness of a structure layer in the known technique by selecting a low dielectric coefficient. The second dielectric layer 3 is brought as close as possible to the stratum. Consequently, excellent grounding effects can be obtained.
