PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of solid phase polymerization capable of obtaining a polymer with more uniform and stable quality through narrower in-oven temperature distribution.;SOLUTION: The method of solid phase polymerization comprises heating a powdery polymer in a tray with a tray-type hot air circulation-type heat oven, wherein the heating is carried out under securing a hot air pathway 50-300 mm in width between the underside of the lowermost tray containing the powdery polymer and the inner wall of the bottom of a heating chamber, and also under securing hot air pathway(s) 50-300 mm in width between the side end of the trays and the inner wall of the side of the heating chamber and/or between the top end of the uppermost tray and the inner wall of the top of the heating chamber.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
