PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-integrated multistage reduction gear, which provides a great deceleration without incurring a significant increase in cost, and an increase in size or weight in an ordinary operation, and allows a manual operation to be easily done when electricity goes down or the motor goes out of order.;SOLUTION: At least either a preceding stage deceleration mechanism or a succeeding stage one is constituted of a planetary deceleration mechanism. (For example, as shown in the figure, the preceding stage deceleration mechanism is constituted of a simple planetary roller mechanism 20, and the succeeding stage deceleration mechanism, of a planetary gear mechanism 50 of a swinging inscription engagement type.) A ring roller 26, as a component constituting at least one planetary deceleration mechanism (for example, as shown in the figure, the preceding simple stage planetary roller mechanism 20) is axially movable, and also serves as a component of an electromagnetic clutch 30 which makes the ring roller 26 selectively disable power transmission of the simple planetary roller mechanism 20.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
