NEEDLE SELECTOR OF CIRCULAR KNITTING MACHINE, NEEDLE SELECTION METHOD AND ACTUATOR THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle selector and a needle selection method of a circular knitting machine to complete the transfer of a pattern during the rotation of the knitting machine.;SOLUTION: The needle selector of a circular knitting machine is composed of a peg holder 7 placed at each yarn-feeding port, an actuator 9 to transfer a knit texture data to the peg holder 7 while rotating at a speed equal to the speed of the knitting machine, the 1st reset cam 10 placed in front of the peg holder 7 positioned on each yarn-feeding port and resetting all fingers to a non-working position, the 2nd reset cam 11 placed at a gate part and moving a release cam 9l to a non-acting position at each rotation, and a pattern controlling device to transfer the desired texture data to the actuator 9 for each yarn-feeding port.
