PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for automating acquisition of readable data models of medical guideline or comparable medical work flow into a clinical work flow management system of a facility. PSOLUTION: An apparatus comprises an interface for reading the readable data models, a work step data bank 6, which has a hierarchical organization of the work steps, a system for describing the read out data models by using the work step data bank 6 on a hierarchical surface of the medical work flow management system 2 different from the hierarchical surface used for the work flow management system 2, a resource data bank 5, which has assignment of comprehensive representation of the resources in the data model to the specific resources of the facility, an assignment system for translating the read out data models by using the resource data bank 5, a description module 11, and a preparation module 14 for the readable data models adapted by an assignment module 12.
