AIRWAY MANAGEMENT BED AND AIRWAY MANAGEMENT METHOD

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airway management bed for airway and an airway management method by which uses no big apparatus and allows a sleeper to ensure the right respiratory tract even if the sleeper falls in snore and apneic pause, thereby to prevent the sleeper from snore and apneic pause. PSOLUTION: The airway management bed, which detects a body movement signal, when the change rate from the amplitude A of a respiratory signal just before it detects to the amplitude B of a respiratory signal just after it does ¾(A-B)/B¾ is a threshold C or more, judges a change in amplitude of respiratory signal between before and after the body movement and thus judges that a sleeper takes a postural change from the look-up to the lie-down or vice versa, thereby to understand the sleeping posture. Further the bed, when it detects a snore signal from the sleeper, lifts down the headrest 20 of the bed 1 or the like, allowing the sleeper for airway management. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
