PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air defence system and an air defence method capable of increasing an air defence capability by reducing the possibility of failure to shoot an object to be intercepted.;SOLUTION: An information communication route between FUs is formed through a shooting network 13 to realize an FU-to-FU linking function. Interception calculation data in each FU is transmitted to the other FU in real time. When an attack to an object to be intercepted must be performed in this state, each FU determines its own air defence capability. When it is determined that, despite the fact that attack treatment is required, the air defence capability is not sufficient, the control right of a missile launching apparatus 11a belonging to the other FU is acquired so that the object to be intercepted can be attacked by the missile launching apparatus 11a in the form of being borrowed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
