PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anion adsorbent having more excellent removability and handleability, an anion elimination method employing the adsorbent, a recycle method of the anion adsorbent, and a recovery method of elements.;SOLUTION: The anion adsorbent comprises allowing a microcrystalline iron hydroxide material obtained by the drying of a precipitation product at 60-100°C, which is obtained by a neutralization to pH4-8 with the addition of an alkali to an iron ion solution, to be supported by a continuous porous molding obtained by the heating/sintering of synthetic resin powder. The anion adsorbent contacts a solution containing the anion, and adsorbs the anion contained in the solution to remove the anion. By treating the anion adsorbent adsorbing the anion with an alkaline solution, the adsorbed anion can be also eluted. Further, treating the anion adsorbent adsorbing the anion with the alkaline solution makes it possible to elute the adsorbed anion and to recover elements contained in the anion.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
