PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for estimating and calculating a region into which a flowing lava flow reaches in real time in a volcanic eruption.;SOLUTION: The system has an analysis means 21. By the analysis means 21, altitude distribution on terrain is used as an initial value, and thermal fluidity in the lava flow is analyzed with a crater position and the flow rate and temperature of an effusive lava flow changed by time as boundary conditions for estimating and calculating the region into which the flowing lava flow reaches. Additionally, the system has a measuring means 14. By the measuring means 14, distance measuring equipment and a thermometer are used for measuring a region into which the lava flow has already reached and the altitude distribution and temperature distribution on the upper surface of the lava flow from air, or the like to calculate the region into which the lava flow reaches, thickness, total volume, the flow rate, and the temperature.
