PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing bar for strain measurement, a concrete pole for strain measurement, and a strain measuring method, for quantitatively comprehending the state of unbalanced load acting on a concrete pole, indeterminable from outward appearance, etc., to provide criteria for reconstruction.;SOLUTION: This reinforcing bar is equipped with a columnar reinforcing bar portion 1A, and an optical fiber cord 1B provided on the bar portion 1A along the length direction of the bar portion 1A. The elongation and compressive strain of the bar portion 1A are put to direct transmission as the elongation and compressive strain of the fiber cord 1B.
