PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computerized system for retrieving information from an information resource. PSOLUTION: The system includes a software device operating thereon, and the device comprises; a break module which is configured so as to break the information resource into a plurality of finite elements; an index module which is configured so as to generate a searchable database having a plurality of records each of which corresponds to at least one finite element and includes at least a part of data which is included in or related to the finite element; a search module which is configured so as to compare a search query with each of the records and determine which database record is a relevant database record; and an un-break module which is configured so as to associate the relevant database record with respective discrete finite elements.
