THERMAL SPRAYING APPARATUS WITH THE USE OF HYDROGEN AND OXYGEN GASES, AND THERMAL SPRAYING METHOD THEREFOR

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal spraying apparatus with the use of hydrogen and oxygen gases, which can be safely and simply used and is suitable for increasing an output, and to provide a thermal spraying method therefor. PSOLUTION: The thermal spraying apparatus 10 with the use of hydrogen and oxygen gases comprises a hydrogen and oxygen gases-generating means 1 which electrolyzes water to generate the mixed gas of hydrogen and oxygen; a combustion chamber 4 having a gas admission port 2 which is connected to the hydrogen and oxygen gases-generating means 1 and introduces the mixed gas therein, in one end, and an open exhaust-nozzle 3 in the other end; and a raw material-feeding means 6 for supplying a raw material 5 to be thermal-sprayed to the inside of the combustion chamber 4. The hydrogen and oxygen gases-generating means 1 has a sealed electrolytic cell 9 which accommodates a positive electrode 7 and a negative electrode 8 therein, and a power source 11 for electrolysis, which applies a potential difference to the positive electrode 7 and the negative electrode 8; and electrolyzes the water introduced into the electrolytic cell 9 to generate the mixed gas of hydrogen and oxygen.
