PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-centered totalizator system for attaining the consistency of both centers under the initiative control of a totalizator terminal.;SOLUTION: A response transmitting part 10 of a totalizator terminal 1 transmits sales data including an object to be bet and the number of bets to a main center 2. A sales processing pat 21 of the main center 2 updates a sales tabulating file 23 on the basis of the sales data and transmits a positive response showing the completion of processing to the totalizator terminal 1. When receiving the positive response of the main center 2, the response transmitting part 10 transmits the sales data and the positive response to a sub-center 3. A sales processing part 31 of the sub-center 3 updates a sales tabulation file 33 on the basis of the sales data from the totalizator terminal 1, and transmits the positive response to the totalizator terminal 1.
