PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an owner identification system, suitable for prevention against unauthorized use of an owner identification certificate attached to an object, to provide an owner identification certificate unit, to provide a communication device, and to provide program for controlling them.;SOLUTION: A first owner identification system 1 comprises a bicycle 2 and a first owner identification unit 3. The first owner identification unit 3 comprises a first component 30 and a second component 31. The first component 30 comprises a first battery unit 30a, a first voltage monitoring part 30b, a first removal detection part 30c, display processing part 30d, and an electrophoresis display device 30e. The second component 31 comprises a second battery unit 31a, a second voltage monitoring part 31b, a second removal detection part 31c, a warning tone output processing part 31d, and a loudspeaker 31e.
