PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaction control method and its apparatus which effectively accelerate a target reaction and obtain a quick and efficient reaction by effectively using the reactivity of both oxidative radical and reducing radical and controlling the quantity, kind, stability, and reactivity of generated radicals, in the synthesis of functional substances and the decomposition treatment of hardly decomposable organic substances. PSOLUTION: At least a pair of electrodes are installed in a reaction solvent. The electrodes are energized to generate the oxidative radical and the reducing radical, thereby affording a radical-containing liquid where both radicals coexist in a reaction space during a reaction period.
