PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data base management system and a data base management method capable of increasing recordable disk capacity by deleting unnecessary DBs and enhancing use efficiency of the system.;SOLUTION: The data base management system manages a plurality of data bases based on use states of the data bases and has a management means for managing use state information indicating the use states of information stored in the data bases, a determining means for determining whether or not managers of the data bases are notified of existence review requests based on the use state information managed by the management means and a notification means for notifying the managers of the data bases of written review requests based on a determination result by the determining means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
