PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight flexible fabric for heat-resistant protective clothing having excellent water repellency and laundry resistance, and also having wearing feeling improved without considerably increasing the weight; and to provide the heat-resistant protective clothing. PSOLUTION: The fabric for heat-resistant protective clothing is obtained by coating a silane-based coating agent at least on the surface of a fabric composed of a synthetic fiber, and curing and solidifying the silane-based coating agent by the action of a catalyst.
