PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a header having a small number of components, having low production cost, and having high reliability, and to provide the header.;SOLUTION: A triangular-wave-like end lid part 3 wherein triangular crests that are top parts continue to tip part sides in both end parts 2 of a metal plate 1 in a development state are cut. Next, the metal plate 1 is bent and formed in a groove state or a tubular state, and is bent in a base of each the triangular crest of the end lid part 3 such that both the the ends thereof are closed.
