PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-μ pavement surface which reduces a maintenance cost.;SOLUTION: This low-μ pavement surface is composed of an asphalt mixture layer wherein a filler with a flow value 8-12 seconds is injected into a gap between aggregates of a pavement layer, wherein particles of pebbles are protruded from a surface of the filler by 0.3 mm or more on an average, and wherein surfaces of protruded parts of the pebbles are polished. The pavement layer is composed of an open-graded asphalt mixture wherein 55-85% pebbles with a particle diameter 13-5 mm, 5-20% pebbles with a particle diameter of 5-2.5 mm, 5-20% sand with a particle diameter of 2.5 mm - 75 μm, and a 2-6% filler with a particle diameter 75 μm or less, in terms of a weight ratio in the mixing of the aggregate, are contained as the aggregates.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
