PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize a reduction in manufacturing cost and shortening in manufacturing lead time while reducing the number of machining processes and machining time.;SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing the raceway ring of a four point contact ball bearing in which two raceway rings are combined, required specific machining is applied to respective raceway rings with respect to a ring-shaped member 21 by specific dimensions longer than axial length at the axial combination of two raceway rings. Then, guarantee inspection of machining precision is carried out. After cutting the ring-shaped member 21 by wire cut discharge machining so as to divide the ring member 21 into two ring single bodies 31, finished raceway ring 21a can be obtained by grounding a cutting face of the ring single body 31.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
