PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for ameliorating barking at night for companion animals such as a dog, to provide a pharmaceutical preparation for administering to animals, and to obtain an agent, and to provide a food and a method each for ameliorating barking at night. PSOLUTION: The pharmaceutical preparation for administering to animals has as the active ingredient ginkgo leaf essence, -aminoacetic acid and phosphatidylserine.
