PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce occurrence of tooth hitting sound when meshing caused by backlashing.;SOLUTION: An overhanging part 5 for eliminating backlashing is protrudedly formed on a tooth face 6 on one side in both end parts in the direction of tooth width of a tooth 2, and the overhanging part 5 is not formed on a tooth face 12 on the other side of the tooth 2. The overhanging part 5 is formed to become flush with the tooth face 6 on one side when it is elastically deformed so as to absorb backlash amount, and the tooth face 12 on the other side of the tooth 2 becomes a main power transmission face. By constituting the overhanging part in this way, the overhanging part 5 comes into contact with a gear face of the mate meshing gear elastically and absorbs rotation energy of the mate gear when performing intermittent rotation by elastic deformation of the overhanging part 5 to reduce impact caused when meshing tooth faces collide mutually and suppress occurrence of tooth hitting sound.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
