PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analysis method of optical path characteristics, a test system of an optical path, and a monitoring system of an optical path test, capable of highly precisely evaluating losses at optical path connections even by optical pulse testing from one-end sides. PSOLUTION: Through the use of both a connection loss value Ls (see Fig. a) at an optical fiber connection point 20 analyzed on the basis of the light reception intensity of back scattering light generated by optical pulses until they reach a termination filter and a connection loss value Lis (see Fig. b) at an optical fiber connection point 20 analyzed on the basis of the light reception intensity of back scattering light generated by optical pulses reflected at the termination filter and further reflected at the termination filter, a true value (s) of a connection loss at the optical fiber connection point is computed.
