DEVICE FOR PREVENTING RESONATED AND AMPLIFIED LATERAL SHOCK DISASTER DUE TO LONG-PERIOD SEISMIC WAVE TO ULTRA-TALL AND HUGE CIVIL ENGINEERING BUILDING/STRUCTURE USING BRACE WITH COMPUTER-CONTROLLED STRETCHING VIBRATION SYSTEM
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device against a case when a very strong earthquake wave strikes an ultra-high and huge civil engineering building or a structure to bring a resonated and amplified lateral shock to the building caused by the seismic wave and the like for a long period of time and thus a serious destruction is anticipated.;SOLUTION: A brace 2 with a stretching vibration system controlled by a computer is directly attached to the ultra-high and huge building or construction, so as to receive the lateral force of the earthquake at the initial stage by artificially generating a long-period vibration for reciprocation to be damped and faded out, and thus the reciprocated and amplified lateral shock is prevented.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
