GOLD PIGMENT FOR HEALTH OF SKIN MUCOUS MEMBRANE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pure gold pigment that is applied to skin mucous membranes for health preservation, health amelioration, medical treatment and therapy.;SOLUTION: This gold pigment is prepared via the following steps: pure kaoline (90 g.) is mixed into distilled water, boiled and filtered through 100 mesh sieve. In the meantime, pure gold (10 g.) is dissolved in aqua regia (a mixture of nitric acid and hydrochloric acid at ratio of 1 : 3) and the solution is evaporated on a hot water bath to remove off the free acids, then the remaining mixture is combined with the kaolin mud. The mixed mud is neutralized with sodium carbonate, and glucose (20 g) is added after the neutralized mixture becomes alkaline and the mixture is boiled for 1 hour while adding distilled water, until a substance of violet is obtained. The resultant violet substance is washed with distilled water, dried and calcined under reductive atmosphere at 960°C whereby a gold solid solution is obtained. The solid product is crushed in glycerol and natural honey to give the gold pigment. The color is deeply violet. All of the materials used here is in a reagent level. The glycerol and natural honey are further added so that their concentrations are each adjusted according to the purposes of the use.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
