PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a real-time broadcast system for realizing real-time communication of a broadcast signal utilizing an existing optical fiber communication path.;SOLUTION: Optical fiber paths P1-P3 satisfying predetermined standards are selected from among existing communication paths connecting two points. A video signal photographed by a video camera 11 is treated as an uncompressed digital broadcast signal, and is sent to the optical fiber communication path P1 through an electric/optical converter 13 and an optical amplifier 14. The digital broadcast signal outputted through the optical fiber communication paths P1, P2, P3 is outputted to a monitor television 27 through an optical/electric converter 25.
