PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computation method for calculating a more accurate monthly temperature coefficient using an I-V curve forming method that is more accurate and has higher general-purpose so as to provide a method of computing an annual photovoltaic power generation simulation using the monthly temperature coefficient.;SOLUTION: The monthly temperature coefficient is calculated using insolation intensity specified on the basis of an I-V curve in a reference condition and the method of forming an I-V curve at the temperature of a solar cell, and the annual solar power generation is calculated by the use of the above coefficient. The method of forming the I-V curve can be made by two ways, one is that basic characteristic values (IL, Co, n, Rsh, and Rs) at temperatures of 25°C, b°C, and c°C are obtained, the basic characteristic values at a designated temperature are obtained through curvilinear interpolation, values are obtained through a Newton's method using the above basic characteristic values to form the I-V curve, and the other is that the points on the I-V curve in the reference condition are converted through a practical I-V curve conversion formula to form the I-V curve.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
