PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the image quality to be uniform, by appropriately increasing and decreasing the electrified amount of toner according to the peripheral environment of an electrophotographic image forming apparatus. PSOLUTION: There are provided a feed roller making electrifying so that a specified amount of charge is provided to the toner, a developing roller applying the electrified toner from the feeding roller to a photoreceptor, a destaticizing member controlling the charged amount of the toner attached to the developing roller, a developing current detection part detecting the variation in current in the developing voltage fed to the developing roller and a destaticizing voltage control part controlling destaticizing voltage applied to the destaticizing member according to the detection result of the developing current detection part.
